About Emma

I am starting college this fall at the University of West Florida, where I will be majoring in elementary education. I am food safety certified and I've studied Spanish for 4 years, I'm not fluent but can teach your child the basics! I'd describe my personality as bubbly, optimistic and friendly! I like working with kids because they have a wonderful imagination! I love fostering a love of reading and creativity that my teachers and parents did at a young age. My mom is a first grade teacher at Oriole Beach Elementary , so I've been working with kids in her classroom for as long as I can remember. I've been babysitting for around 5 years and I also work at Laguna's (the amusement/zipline park on Pensacola Beach) for over a year, which has helped me become more experienced with children. In my spare time, I like to go to the beach, read, spend time with my family, and paint. My skills include an optimistic attitude, creativity and communication skills.
