About Emma

I am a college graduate from the University of Delaware. I graduated with my bachelor degree in psychology and environmental humanities. I went on to work with elementary school aged children directly after graduating. I am very interested in being a consistent nanny for a loving family because it allows for my interactions and connections with the child or children to be that much stronger. I have over five years of experience working with children in professional settings such as schools, camps, and daycare. Aside from working in establishments, I have also been a consistent babysitter for multiple families over time, and a nanny for one family for three consistent years. My philosophy in regards to childcare is that through hands on experiences children learn best. When imaginations are ignited, children are empowered to express themselves, be open to to interacting with others, and develop social and emotional skills, which is very important in early childhood.
