I am a recent Simmons University graduate looking for pet-related employment! I grew up with big dogs (~80lbs), am currently living with a cat, and recently adopted my own first dog. I view parenting a pet as a huge responsibility and have devoted a ton of my time to becoming the most knowledgeable and competent pet parent I can be. In the past 8 months, I have self-trained my dog basic obedience, loose leash walking and heeling, tricks, and consider myself quite competent in basic dog handling and training. I am also *personally* (not professionally) experienced in reactivity, guarding, jumping, mouthing, etc. and do not view these behaviors as obstacles, but aspects for us to discuss and work together on. As all pets are unique individuals and you know you pet best, I would love to work with you to learn what I can bring to your pet's life and how to best serve their and your needs!
