About Emma

Three words to describe me are creative, caring and meticulous. I enjoy watching children develop an understanding of who they are and their place in the world. It brings me satisfaction to encourage their natural interests and have some fun learning together! I recently relocated to Cambridge, MA from Chicago, IL where I was a senior public affairs strategist. I am seeking work during my career transition. I grew up volunteering for the Special Olympics, then went on to teach Sunday School throughout high school (ages 4-5) managing a group of 6-10 solo. I also have an 18-month-old nephew who introduced me to younger child care. He is the BEST! My interests include interior design, history, sports (especially soccer), fashion, cooking and animals. I graduated from Northwestern with a double major and a 3. 85/4 GPA. I speak conversational Spanish. One thing families should know about me is that I take responsibility and trust extremely seriously.
