About Emma

Hello! I am 23 years old living in Mount Prospect. I am a graduate from the University of Mississippi where I graduated with a B. S in Communication Science and Disorders with a minor is psychology. In July, I came back from a year long abroad program teaching English in elementary schools in Israel. In the fall I began graduate school at Rush University to earn my Doctorate in Audiology. After this past semester, I have decided to take some time off school to concentrate on certain things I am passionate about. Child care is one of those passions and I am eager to join a family that is looking for help! I have been working with children since the age of 13. I have worked with children and young adults of all ages and I have experience working with children with special needs as well as physical disabilities. In high school, I was a camp counselor during the summer time and worked at an overnight camp specifically for children with special needs.
