About Emmah

Hi! I'm a dependable, compassionate, and patient caregiver who genuinely loves working with kids. Growing up with three siblings, I naturally took on a leadership role and gained hands-on experience helping care for my younger siblings, which shaped my sense of responsibility and attentiveness. I volunteer weekly with College Mentors for Kids through Virginia Tech, where I mentor elementary school children and focus on building confidence and positive habits. Being a consistent, encouraging role model is something I truly value. I also have experience pet sitting and tutoring, and am a senior at Virginia Tech with plans to become a physical therapist. In my free time, I love staying active, spending time outdoors, and being with friends and family. I'm very adaptable, learn routines quickly, and prioritize following each family's parenting style to ensure consistency and trust.
