About Emma

Hi, I'm Emma! I'm a 24-year-old Cal Poly SLO grad and Carlsbad native with extensive childcare experience. I am energetic, patient, and caring, and genuinely passionate about working with kids. Most recently, I spent two years living in Madrid, Spain, where I taught students ages 3-12 at an English immersion school. I rotated between grades and taught English, Science and Art. I led lessons, provided one-on-one support, planned engaging activities, and built meaningful relationships with my students. I worked with a wide range of ages, personalities and needs, and am comfortable caring for several kids at once. Before moving to Spain, I volunteered in classroom settings and in after-school programs. I have also worked for the Boys & Girls Club of Oceanside! I am happy to help with homework, pet care, and some household chores. If you have any questions about my experience or think I would be a good fit for your family, I would love to hear from you!
