Nice to meet you! My name is Emma and I love working with young people and their families. I have seven years of experience tutoring students of all ages and three years of experience in art education in both institutional and home settings. Regardless of the student's age, it is my priority to ensure that the learning process is as personalized and fun as possible. In 2016 I graduated with honors from New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Study. Since then I have earned 12 child development credits from Los Angeles City College. I am a conversational Spanish speaker, learning more every day. In my free time I love to paint, cook, and garden.

Emma was an incredible tutor and caregiver to my eight-year old while she was in online school. She worked with her during a difficult time, and knew exactly how to support her emotionally and academically. Emma is extremely creative and talented - in crafting learning strategies and in actual arts and crafts. She was a skilled play partner and struck a perfect balance between fun and firmness (making sure schoolwork was done). She also made healthy and delicious lunches and has a calm demeanor that makes her a wonderful person to be around.
