About Emma

I developed a deep and varied passion for English language and literature as an undergraduate student, first at Connecticut College for three years, and then at the University of Vermont (UVM) for one year. My study of English spanned time periods and geographical regions, covered a range of literary theories and forms, and included both old classics and new novels for a holistic and dynamic understanding of the field. Additionally, I am a skilled writer who is attentive to the small details of content and grammar. I have experience with academic, creative, and journalistic writing. During my time at UVM, I also gained valuable experience in a couple of teaching roles, first as a student in an elective Education course, then as a student in the UVM Campus Recreation 200-hour yoga teacher training program.
