About Emma

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, hardworking, and responsible. I grew up knowing the value of hard work and graduated high school with a 4. 0 gpa and am now an honors student at GCU. Working with kids requires a good balance of responsibility and creativity! I feel I possess a good understanding of how to incorporate both into my work. I like working with kids because they are truly so special! There is nothing quite like working with children as they are always up to have fun. I am perusing a career as a pediatric occupational therapist because working with kids brings me so much joy! I started working with kids when I was 13 years old by babysitting for family members and family friends. When I turned 16 I began to volunteer in my church's childcare center! I have thoroughly enjoyed every childcare experience! Even the particularly challenging days have taught me so so much. In my spare time, I like to travel, read, learn more about my field, and hang out with friends!
