About Emma
Experience: 10 yrs
Growing up, my mother ran a daycare for special needs kids out of our home. I feel that the way I was raised was the best preparation a person could ask for when they aspire to work with kids. I began my first nannying job at 17 for an 8 and a 10-year-old, I cared for them after school for 3 years and full time in the summers. Following that job I began nannying full time for a family with three kids, a 6-month-old, a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old. I stayed with this family for 7 years, until they moved away. Following this job I worked as a preschool teacher for 2 years. I was the primary teacher in the 2-year-old class for a year and then the primary teacher in the 3-year-old class after that. I love crafts, music, board games and sports. Whether I am changing diapers, pushing a stroller, helping with homework, or driving kids to soccer practice, I do what I can each and every day to make sure every child is in a safe, caring, and of course fun environment!

Emma worked for our family for 6 years, starting from when my kids were 6mo, 3 and 5.5years old. Not sure how I would have survived those years without her. First and foremost, she is a natural with kids of all ages. She is loving, kind and supportive but also expects kids to follow the rules and be respectful which was very important to me. She knew how best to support each of my kids and their different personalities. My kids adored and respected Emma. In addition to her skills with the kids, Emma is incredibly dependable, creative, artistic and organized which was so helpful in managing our busy house. I highly recommend Emma...she will be an asset in any situation!
