Hi there! I'm a registered nurse of 5 years and have 10 years of childcare experience, as a babysitter, regular nanny and aftercare provider at the Friends School of Portland. I've also worked with a non-profit to teach girls/female identifying/gender non-conforming children about feminism and media literacy. Currently, I work per diem as a postpartum nurse in Portland. Being a nanny has always been my favorite job. I operate from a space of encouraging children to be kids and have fun while also fostering a sense of stewardship and empowerment in their lives. I love the arts (especially theater) and the outdoors. I also love cooking and am happy to include children in cooking projects. I'm comfortable with all ages. I am fully COVID vaccinated and adhere to masking guidance. I'm looking for a family that values the care I would offer their children and lives in or around Portland. I'm interested in a recurring date-night/evening gig 1-2 evenings per week.

I have known Emma for about 10 years and she is an honest, caring, and fiercely loyal friend to me. Not only does she treat me this way, but she is also fair and welcoming to all around her. Emma will be an excellent caregiver for your family. She is open, kind, and non-judgemental. She is also the best cook I know and loves to share delicious food with her friends and family. Emma is well-read and cares deeply about the well-being of her community. I trust her with my most important moments and I can always count on her. Her years of experience as a loving family member, nanny, and nurse will be apparent when you meet her.
