About Emina

Hi! My name is Emina, and I'm a 20-year-old college student at the University of Connecticut. I grew up in Queens, NY, and now live in Watertown, Connecticut, which has helped me connect with people from many different backgrounds. I work part-time as both a server and a substitute teacher, where I've built strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to stay calm in fast-paced environments. Working in schools has given me hands-on experience managing groups of children and creating a positive, respectful space. I have experience caring for toddlers through pre-teens and enjoy staying active with them--helping with homework, playing games, and doing creative activities while making sure they feel safe and supported. I'm also happy to assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and basic meal prep. I'm reliable, responsible, and someone families can trust. I'm seeking a seasonal position from mid-May through August (Sunday-Thursday) and would love to support a family this summer!
