About Emily

Hi! I'm Emily, a new mom to my sweet 4-month-old, & someone who's always loved caring for & working with kids. I was the little girl who spent hours playing school in my room! I have several years of experience working with kids. I started as an Intervention Tutor with K-5 students, & for the past 3 years, I worked as an Intervention Specialist with 2nd/3rd grade. During college, I also worked at a daycare, gaining experience caring for young kids & helping with daily routines & activities. I am licensed in Early Childhood Education/Intervention Specialist PreK-3 & have my K-12 Reading Endorsement. I believe kids thrive when they feel safe, loved, supported, & encouraged. I enjoy keeping kids engaged through play, creativity, reading, & age-appropriate activities. As a mom, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your child. I'd love the opportunity to care for your child & provide a safe, fun, & nurturing environment where they can learn & grow!
