Hello! I am a mother of 2 and have 2 pets. During the school year, I teach elementary school and have experience working in special education. In addition to continuing tutoring & providing behavioral services this summer, I am looking to provide care and support for seniors in my area. I am working on a masters in the mental health & behavioral arena so my approach is centered on maintaining & strengthening cognition, mental health, socialization and sense of independence. A senior may have little ability to function independently but, my goal is to help them be &/or feel included in daily tasks to give them a sense of control and normalcy. I love working with seniors and truly enjoy their conversation! We can learn so much about life and history, through their stories. My hope is to bring joy into their lives and have them looking forward to our visits!
