About Emily

I have a passion for making art with kids, and finding ways to gamify our time together! Do you want your kids to have the best diorama at the science fair? I'm your gal to help them do that! I have worked in all arenas of childcare- from large centers and in-my-home, to private in home nannying. I've cared for 6-week-olds -16-year-olds. I have 15 years of experience with my last placement lasting 10 years. I especially love helping kids learn to pursue their artistic passions. I have a reliable and safe car with room for 3 car seats across the back row. I am childfree and available to make my life work with your schedule. I am active, creative, kind, firm but flexible. I believe in realistic parenting- my main tenets are: You can only control yourself, Treat people the way they want to be treated, Your worth is inherent, and If you want to benefit from the community you must benefit the community. I've been called the modern day Mary Poppins!
