As a mother of three (newborn, 3 & 5yrs), my girls and I were new to the area when we moved here from Virginia Beach in July of 2021. My husband is in the Navy and had to remain in VA due to his ship's deployment schedule. He did not join us full-time until March of 2022. I also had to return to my full-time remote job as soon as my maternity leave ended in September of 2021. To put it simply, I don't know how we would have made it without Emily. I have no family in the area, and she is the reason we stayed afloat. From day one, she just stepped right in as if she had always been with us. She is caring, understanding, loving, and supportive, and at the same time she is not afraid to put her foot down when necessary (my oldest girls can be a handful). I count her in a list of about 5 people who I fully trust to watch my children in my absence. I know they are protected and safe when they are with her. We think of her as family and will forever be grateful that she came into our lives.
