Throughout high school and college I had several families I would occasionally babysit for on weekends. My senior year of high school I worked as an after school caretaker, assisting a family with four children (elementary-high school) including a teenage child with Down Syndrome. When home from college I would help out as a substitute aid in a Montessori School when needed. There I assisted in the care and educational development of children 6 months to 3 years. Over the last 10+ years through babysitting and child care, I have established responsibility, understanding, and the ability to interact well with children of any age. I have always enjoyed looking after children and I would like to continue doing so! I am newly moved to Encinitas, CA and am looking for occasional babysitting and pet sitting jobs.
