About Emily

I am a stay at home mom of 2 biological children and 1 foster baby. I have been baby-sitting since I was about 12. I grew up involved in various sports, but found that softball and gymnastics were my favorite. I coached gymnastics for four years and competed for seven. I have been involved in church nursery care and other types of child care within the church. I have taken multiple courses in child development and child psychology. I love children and love to be around them. I love to learn from them, as much as I love to teach them new things. I prefer to teach kids with a hands on mentality. I was home schooled growing up and my sister's home school their children, so I have experience with teaching kids. I also have up to date CPR/first aid training. My husband and I are licensed foster care parents so we have had all the home inspections and background checks completed.
