About Emily
Experience: 12 yrs
I have been working with kids in some shape or form for the last 15 years. I was born and raised in Michigan, and I am the oldest of three. I have been babysitting for multiple families since the age of 14. I also have worked in church Sunday school classes and as a VBS counselor. I have worked for various kids summer camps. I moved here for college in 2015 where I got my degree in Human Development and Family studies with a concentration in Early Education from the UNC Greensboro. I had many opportunities to increase my learning about child development and apply that to when I was a nanny in 2020, I was also a nanny before starting school again in 2015. During college I also met my husband and we now live in Durham with our two cats, pancakes and waffles. We consider ourselves to be foodies and love trying new restaurants. We love going to Durham Bulls games and also love to travel and go camping!
