About Emily

Hi! I'm Emily, a certified teacher and current Reading Support Teacher with experience working with students in grades K-6. I have a Bachelor of Science in Education and am certified in the Wilson Reading System as a Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner. I specialize in reading, spelling, phonics, decoding, and fluency. I currently provide one-on-one reading instruction, lead a small intensive reading group, and support students in their classrooms. I also have experience teaching Fundations in both whole-class and small-group settings. I plan each lesson around the student's individual needs and work to make learning positive, comfortable, and encouraging. My goal is to help children strengthen their skills, build confidence, and become more independent learners. I would love the opportunity to get to know your child and support their growth!
