About Emily

Hi there, my name is Emily! I just recently graduated from UW-Superior with a degree in Elementary Education. I have started my teaching career as a permanent substitute, but will be a 2nd grade teacher beginning August for the next school year. Looking for a summer job! I like working with kids because they make me feel like I'm still a kid myself. I always know that my students or kids will allow me to be my most fun and authentic self, and I hope I can do the same for them. I started working with kids when I was in high school. I worked at my local park district as an after school counselor. I'm now 26 and have worked various camps, after school programs, and now have entered into the public school systems. In my spare time, I like to go for walks, read books, ride my bake, bake a new recipe, and spend time with friends and family. One thing you should know about me is that I am very reliable. When it comes to a job, I will always be on time and have a positive attitude.
