About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily, I graduated from UVU in May 2023 and I would absolutely love to help Tutor your child! I first gained a love for tutoring when I myself needed to see a tutor for my high school math class. I was able to grow, learn and understand concepts that didn't make much sense before and learned to really appreciate what it can do. Later in High School I had an opportunity to volunteer at an underprivileged Elementary School and helped teach 2nd graders how to read for about 6 months before graduating. I loved that experience and loved seeing the progress of each child I worked with. In college I had a chance to tutor my sister in her High School Algebra class for a few months in preparation for her GED Math. I love education and I love being able to empower others to gain a love of learning even when it's a challenge.
