About Emily

Hello! My name is Emily. I have a Bachelor's in Education from Baylor University and spent 7 years as an elementary teacher. I have experience with both general education and special education children. I am also trained as a Certified Academic Language Therapist, specializing in reading and writing disorders such as Dyslexia and Dysgraphia. I am interested in either tutoring or babysitting and would be happy to help with academics, preparing meals, laundry, dishes, or other housework. In a previous job, I successfully used the heimlich maneuver in order to save a young child from choking. My experience with both education and babysitting, as well as my love for children, will make me a great babysitter or tutor for your child.
