About Emily

If you would like a nanny that is nurturing, earth centered, and creative then I am perfect for the job. I love exploring the outdoors and seeking out the passion and curiosity that children naturally bring to the world. They inspire me to be more fully alive and engaged in the wonderment all around us. My formal education is in Environmental Studies from Ithaca College. In my early 20s I received a Wilderness Skills Instructor certification. I then went on to continue my education through a 9-month wildnerness skills and naturalist program in Washington State (Anake Outdoor School). From there I spent three years working at Wild Earth and went on to develop and work my own nature based homeschool programs. I have had the pleasure of working with children in the outdoors through survival skills, nature connection, and awareness. My gifts are vast and include- coyote mentorship and bushcraf skills- as in learning by experience, curiosity, and through earth centered play.
