About Emily

Emily enrolled in my Child Development Laboratory course during the fall of her senior year of college, and worked in my Social Development Lab in the spring of her senior year. During that time, Emily studied child development theories and practice and conducted research with 4- and 5-year-old children in my laboratory nursery school. Emily consistently performed at the top of her class, demonstrated keen understanding of classical theoretical frameworks, as well as the most current research in the field of children's social development, and proved both a thoughtful and diligent research assistant. In our research together, Emily worked independently, organizing and conducting interviews, and had responsibility for a host of administrative responsibilities that she executed at or above expectation.
