About Emily

Hi! I'm Emily, an energetic 29-year-old nanny with 8 years of experience caring for kids of all ages (especially ages 2-13) and children with special needs. I'm looking for a full-time position starting early September as I relocate from the Bay Area to Providence! My rate starts at $30/hr. Most recently, I spent 2 years as a full-time nanny for 3 kids (ages 7-13), building a strong, trusted relationship with the family. Prior to that, I worked in a high school special education classroom. I am CPR-certified, have my own car, and am taking child development courses while working toward my teaching credential. I'm firm, kind, and value clear alignment with parents. I love fostering confidence through hands-on projects, baking, creative play, and fun outings. In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, and spending time with my dogs. I look forward to connecting with families in the area!
