About Emily

Hello! I am a reliable, honest, enthusiastic, and experienced childcare and education expert looking for part-time work with children in middle childhood/adolescence. After growing up in the Champlain Valley of Vermont, I graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Music Education. After working in afterschool for 5 years, I then attended the Harvard Graduate School of Education full-time, graduating with a Master of Education in Human Development & Psychology with a focus in Child Advocacy. Although I have loved my work in both public and private schools and my current work in affordable housing, I am hoping to be employed by a family during afterschool hours to assist with any needs, including driving to after school activities, homework assistance, music lessons, meal prep, housework, etc. A good fit for me would be: -Highly organized family (or a family open to assistance in tidying/organization) -multi-age family -Interest in the arts (any and all!)
