Growing up,. Babysitting helped fuel a fire I had for children at a young age and since then I have always found a joy spending time with children. I babysat all through middle and high school and went to Grand Valley State University and studied Elementary Education with an emphasis in Language Arts. When I graduated college in 2015, I worked at a school as a paraprofessional, assisting struggling readers and writers. In the fall of 2016, I started working at Coopersville Area Public Schools as a Kindergarten teacher. I will be finishing up my first year as a full time teacher soon and starting my second year in Kindergarten in the fall.
