About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily, and I have experience working in multiple childcare and learning facilities with almost all age groups, including working one on one with children with special needs. Currently I am working on completing my Masters in Elementary Education, and graduated last spring with my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. My most recent tutoring experience involved facilitating online learning with a 5-year-old in Pre-K coursework from March to June, providing extra assistance with strengthening reading skills and basic mathematics (counting, number recognition, sorting, etc). I also have experience completing two years of volunteer field hours in k-6 elementary classrooms through my high school curriculum. During this experience I conducted one-on-one and small group reading help.
