I would highly recommend Emily as your childcare provider. If you are looking for care that replicates the warm and nurturing environment of your home, Emily is a great fit for you. Her style is fun, playful, loving, and flexible. She is focused on building loving and secure attachments which makes her well suited for caring for babies and toddlers. She provides learning opportunities in the context of every day routines, such as mealtimes, shared book reading, developmentally appropriate play activities, outdoor experiences, and community outings. Emily cared for my daughter, Elise, 1-2 days a week for two years. I felt like the Emily's home was the next best thing to having my child at home with me. I am a speech-language pathologist and it was important to me to find a person who was going to snuggle, hold, talk, and interact with my baby like I would throughout the day. Emily is certainly that person.
