About Emily

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, energetic, artistic I like working with kids because I think they are future of the world and full of wonder. I'm looking for a job that is a caring collaborative environment that fully trusts in my capabilities and boundaries with the children. I started working with kids when I was 15 as a counselor and have been full time for the past 4 years. In my spare time, I like to create art, read, crochet. I love the outdoors and swimming. I am dog and cat mom. I really enjoy thrifting, music, the movies and journaling. I also love to host a very decorated party. One thing you should know about me is I feel a duty to give children, not only the best physical developmental stimulation, but mental and social activities and stimulation. I am a great book reader, activity planner and empathetic . I always have a way of finding something to engage with that is an interest of the child.
