About Emily

I'd describe my personality as caring, honest and creative. I like working with kids because I enjoy having an impact on their lives. I'm looking for a job that is somewhat flexible, but will allow me to develop a friendly relationship with the children. I started working with kids when I was able to start working at 14. I am now going on seven years in childcare. In my spare time, I like to read and spend time with my family. One thing you should know about me is that I may enjoy spending time at home, but I would love the opportunity to take children on small adventures and create memories that will last a lifetime. My skills include age-appropriate communication skills and empathy. I'm able to teach simple skills and tasks, and provide help with everyday actions that they may not have mastered yet. I'm able to plan out monthly curriculum and get crafty.
