About Emily

Certified Secondary English Language Arts educator in Texas. I completed my BA in Secondary English Education with concentrations in both Literature and Spanish Language. A life-long lover of learning and education, I'm currently attending LSU to complete my MBA in project management. I have taught ELA at both middle and high school levels to a variety of learners in the Houston metro area. I currently work as a remote high school ELA instructor, so much schedule is very flexible! I'd describe my personality as friendly, responsible, and caring. In my spare time, I like to take my two dogs hiking, spend time with family, read, and explore new restaurants in the Houston area. My skills include extensive knowledge of educational strategies, a background in preparation for STAAR exams and other exams, and a huge amount of patience to work with any learner.
