About Emily

I have 25 years of experience in private home care. I can give emotional support while providing companionship in a patient and compassionate manner. I provide personal care, hygiene care, and monitor dietary/medical needs. I maintain a high level of safety and have experience with dementia care. I have a brother struggling with dementia so it is a condition dear to my heart. I can do the grocery shopping, run errands, handle meal planning and preparation. I will set medication reminders, sort out pill boxes, do laundry, and light housekeeping. If needed I will take care of transportation services, attend doctors/dental appointments, go for walks and monitor exercise/physical therapy sessions. I can do personal care like bathing/showering, dressing/undressing and assistance to the bathroom. I am passionate about senior care because I enjoy providing companionship to someone that might not have anyone else, learning about their life history and making a connection to change someones life for the better. It is important to me to be patient and caring to the individual and I have been fortunate to spend years caring for the same individual and becoming a part of their family.
