I've been caring for children for over seven years because I'm passionate about supporting their growth and development. Growing up, there was always a child around to take care of, and I was always the happiest one to do it. As an empathetic person, I enjoy creating a nurturing environment where kids feel safe and happy. I have experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to preteens, and am comfortable caring for up to two children at a time. I follow the parents' lead in terms of household rules and prefer to communicate about a child's day or any issues that arise verbally at pickup. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including educational, outdoor, and technology-based games (I am a gamer at heart). I am a Junior Psychology major at the College of Wooster, and because of my past summer internship working with children, I have completed child safety trainings. Emily is just amazing!! She has been there until my son was a year 5 months. Emily is really good with not just fun games but exploring sensory learning with kids. She is great with kids, and the kids love her. Her sweet, joyful spirit is what any parent would want around their child.
