About Emily

Hi there! I'm Emily and I have over 8 years of experience babysitting and 4 years of experience as a nanny. I have worked with kids in all stages of life including special needs children and infants. I am excited for the opportunity to get to know your children! A few notes about my experience: -For my 4 years of college in Eugene I was a nanny and Personal Support Worker for a family with two children, one of which who had special needs and required special care in the form of medication administration and transportation to medical and therapeutic appointments. -I have spent over 100 hours volunteering in my mom's elementary school classrooms teaching art lessons and giving academic support to students. -I was a swim instructor and lifeguard at Wilson Pool in SW Portland for 7 years where I taught lessons to children from six months to 13 years old as well as practiced lifesaving techniques such as CPR and AED training.
