About Emily

Hi!! My name is Emily :) I am 22 years old from Asheville, NC where I recently graduated from UNCA with a degree in Mass Communication. I'm excited to be moving to Brooklyn on August 1st! Childcare is one of my passions - I've worked many long and short term childcare roles including a full time nanny position in Chicago last summer. I also spent one year as an afterschool and summer camp facilitator at a non-profit in Asheville, and have worked as a substitute teacher for elementary and middle school students. In my free time I love spending time outdoors, going to see live music, writing and crafting. I find it so fulfilling to share my passions with young minds, and to watch them grow their creative skills.
