About Emily

I'd describe my personality as energetic, determined, and kind. I like caring for seniors because I believe they have incredible memories, stories, experiences, and are an important part of our society. In my spare time, I like to garden, read, listen to podcasts, cook and spend time with my husband Ben, and dogs. One thing you should know about me is I have always worked with seniors. I started as a social worker in a skilled nursing facility, and continued on to work in home care, hospice, dementia care facilities and assisted livings. I just finished my Masters in Healthcare Administration as I want to pursue leadership in healthcare. I am looking for respite positions from now until November, and could possibly do per diem/part time hours starting in November. I have a strong understanding of the healthcare system and am passionate about communicating with seniors clearly to understand their needs and preferences, and advocating for those things.
