About Emily

I’d describe my personality as kind, caring, and patient.\r\n\r\nI like tutoring because it allows me continue teaching even though I've left the classroom.\r\n\r\nI’m looking for a job that allows me to support students towards success and build their academic confidence.\r\n\r\nI started tutoring while I finished my teaching certification. I then went on to teach middle school science and high school Biology.\r\n\r\nIn my spare time, I like to get together with friends and family, go to the gym, find treasures thrift shopping, and watch period piece Netflix series.\r\n\r\nOne thing you should know about me is that I have taught students of all ability levels in grades 6 - 12. While I am no longer a classroom teacher, I still work in the education field as a College and Career Coordinator for high school students!
