I was a kindergarten teacher at a public school while spending my extra time working as an assistant administrator at a tutoring center called Best brains. I have previously worked as a lead preschool teacher, a full time and part time nanny, mother's helper, as well as fill in nanny roles. I love all kids and gear myself towards a loving and empathetic approach while adapting the parentings disciplinary style. I love to engage in different crafts, activities and learning skills. Emily has been involved with our family for the past 4 months. My children are 2.5 years old and 10 months. Within days we knew that she would quickly and easily meld into our family. She is incredibly responsible, honest, and hardworking. My husband and I are both physicians and have fluctuating hours. With limited notice, she was always available and flexible with us. She is full of joy and always smiling. She has incredible energy and keeps the kids engaged throughout the day. The single most important role of a nanny is to keep a child safe and Emily gets a gold star for this. She anticipates possible dangers and averts them. She is looking for a long-term position and would like to grow with a family and also takes excellent care of the house (laundry, dishes, organizing, cooking dinner). She is wise beyond her years. I wish I could give her ten stars.
