About Emily

I have a degree in Child Developmental Psychology and have worked as a caregiver with multiple families throughout California. I recently moved to Georgia with my husband, and I am currently searching for full-time positions in Buford area. Most of my childcare experience is with children 3 - 18 months old as a full-time nanny. I also have experience as a mother's helper and part-time nannying for after-school help for cognitive and speech delayed adolescents. Along with my degree, I have internship experience with a children's advocacy organization where I worked with children through activities that teach emotional self-awareness, create motivation, manage relationships, learn to communicate feelings through art, writing and verbal self-expression. I am comfortable with meal prep., attending classes with baby, creating environments for self-led or partnered play, day excursions, etc. I enjoy being outside while engaging them in conversation to learn about the world around them.
