About Emily

Hello, my name is Emily, owner/operator of Spanish With Miss Emily. I work with bilingual (Spanish/English) families, helping their children maintain and reinforce their native language, Spanish. I created Spanish With Miss Emily to solve a problem I kept seeing throughout the years: many children of bilingual families grow up without proper Spanish education during the most crucial years of their lives, 0-4. And it's a shame. As parents, we know we need to do everything to help our children succeed and in today's world, being bilingual is not only a perk but a serious advantage. These days, speaking a second language has become a necessity. Did you know that Spanish is spoken by more than 500 million people worldwide? Through creative methods and play, I teach children how to speak and reinforce their Spanish. I schedule 2 to 3 sessions per week, ranging from 1. 5 to 2 hours per session.
