About Emily

I have a Master's in biomedical sciences and am on temporary leave from medical school at Rutgers NJMS following the birth of my child. I attended Boston College for undergrad and completed a BS with a double major in biology and music. I am a very experienced tutor in the sciences, including AP exam prep and the MCAT exam. I have taught children and young adults of all ages. I have tutored biology, chemistry, physics, math and language arts/reading comprehension to elementary school children, and have also worked with junior and senior high school young adults, in addition to tutoring college students at Boston's private schools. I have tutored adults in ESL, and math and reading comprehension for the GED. I also have extensive experience with personal statement editing and assistance with essay writing. I also have many years of piano teaching experience.
