About Emily

I am a hard-working, outgoing, nursing student. I graduated from Old Dominion University with a biochemistry degree and am now finishing a second accelerated bachelor of science in nursing. I have some time off as I am waiting to take my NCLEX exam and start work in the ICU. Previously, I worked as a certified lifeguard and swim instructor through the YMCA. I taught preschool and parent-child lessons but have experience with upper level/swim team. I have two years of experience as a summer camp counselor with skills such as STEM activities, arts and crafts and sports games. I am CPR and BLS certified. I value outdoor play and creativity. In my free time I love to distance run, cook and walk my dogs. I am happy to do laundry, pick up groceries, and run errands etc. I have plenty of time in the afternoons and most weekends.
