About Emily

I have been working as a patient care assistant at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center for almost three years. I work with children with hematology and oncology diagnoses and see patients a few days old into their eighties. Before I was at the hospital I worked at two different daycares that both offered diverse learning opportunities for their children. I also have experience babysitting throughout middle school, high school, and college. I have a BS in Psychology from Penn State and I am finishing the last year in my grad school program at Drexel University. When I graduate I will have an MS in Complementary and Integrative Health. I am working towards becoming a child life specialist. I am also a certified EMT-B and have been since 2018. I worked with a company for a year running emergency calls, now I work for a transport company. This past summer I got recertified as a lifeguard after letting my certification lapse during the pandemic.
