About Emily

I have over 20 years of childcare experience. I have experience taking care of children of all ages, 3 months-12 years. Most recently I was nanny for almost four years to an awesome kiddo. I started working for him when he was 18 months old and he is now 5 and starting kindergarten. Prior to that I was an elementary school teacher. I have eight years of teaching experience and would love to be able to use my teaching experience during a nannying job. I love hanging out with children and helping them grow. When I'm taking care of kids, not only do we play and have fun but I work with kids to be life learners. I also encourage kids of all ages to use their imaginations, play make-believe and have fun.

Emily has been the absolutely best decision we have made regarding our son’s care. My husband and I both work from home and needed full time care of someone we could trust, who would respect our parenting style, and support our son’s growth and safety while we were working. She had always been responsive and open with us, keeps us informed of his activities during the day, and made sure we knew of anything worth noticing early and often (like if he was more sniffle-y than usual). She changed diapers, helped support potty training efforts, read and took him to the library, took him out on activities, and played with him in our home. I would 100% without a doubt recommend Emily to the care of your child.
