About Emily

I have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a master's in Elementary Education from the University of Washington. I taught for a year in the Renton school district, and substitute taught in the Highline school district. While I am no longer teaching at this time, I still love working with kids! For the past three years I have been working on a small organic vegetable farm in Fall City, and when the season wraps up I will be looking for some temporary work nannying from the end of November to March or April. I have experience babysitting kids from age 1-10. I have also volunteered in daycares with kids 1-5. I am fully vaccinated, and live with 4 housemates who are all also fully vaccinated.

Emily nannied for our 1 year old daughter from November 2020- April 2021, and it was a wonderful experience. Emily was so engaged and patient with our child, who absolutely adored her. Additionally, she is responsible, punctual, and an overall joy to be around. We would have kept Emily onboard indefinitely if she did not have a spring/summer job to return to. Any family who hires Emily is incredibly lucky.
