About Emily

Hi there, I have been working in the childcare field for several years now. All of my odd jobs as a young teenager were centered around tutoring, occasional babysitting and eventually full time nannying. I focused on childcare based classes in high school and then began working toward my teaching degree. I returned home early to care for my family and became a full time nanny. Throughout my teen years I was also a co-director for a very successful Girl Scout Camp for 10 years! Now, I have a bonus son and care for my brother. I'd describe my personality as open-minded, determined and kind. One thing you should know about me is that I am well versed in working with children who have special needs. My brother is disabled and I have been his caregiver for several years now. During college I was studying to become a SPED teacher and have experience working with all sorts of children. I'm eager to learn and adapt to whatever a family may need of me. Id love to answer any questions!
