About Emily

Hello, I'm Emily! I am a caring and dependable childcare professional with over 10 years of experience working with kids ages 1-16. I've had the privilege of working as a nanny for several families, where I've helped them with everything from daily routines and school pick ups to cooking, cleaning, infant care, transportation and recreation. Beyond nannying, I've worked in schools as a social-emotional learning instructor, English teacher, and recreational gymnastics coach. I really enjoy supporting kids in all areas of their growth, whether that's learning, movement, or emotional development. I also bring my background as a social work graduate student into my childcare approach, which means I'm confident in handling big feelings, tricky behaviors, and conflict in a calm, supportive, and developmentally appropriate way. Most of all, I love creating a safe, fun and encouraging environment, where kids feel comfortable being themselves, trying new things, and growing with confidence!
